Description Anton Kazimirovich Sushkevich (1889-1961) – Soviet mathematician.

In 1906–1911 He studied at the University of Berlin, and in 1913 he graduated from St. Petersburg University. In 1917, he passed his master’s examinations at Kharkov University and remained to work in it. From 1921 to 1929 – Professor of the Voronezh University. In 1926 he defended his doctoral thesis “Theory of Action as a General Group Theory” at Kharkov University. Since 1929 – Professor of Kharkov University. He headed the joint department of general mathematics, higher algebra and number theory from 1956 to 1961.
