|Title||Austria. Patriotic Post Card with Special cancellation 1946 Exhibition “Never Forget” with Stamp Sc. 484, Vienna Künstlerhaus 17.09.1946|
|Description||“Never Forget!” bears testimony to an anti-Fascist show from the year 1946. The exhibition, held under the same name, was displayed at Vienna’s Künstlerhaus and was one of the most important exhibitions of the immediate post-war era, which was the first of its kind to address the subject of National Socialism in Austria. It was organized by the socialist graphic designer and poster artist Theodor Slama and dealt with the graphics of propaganda used in the class struggle as a political poster. In this book, Ulrike Wenzel examines the way Nazism was dealt with in Austria in the early post-war years taking the most important exhibition of its kind as an example.
