| Description | The Stralauer Fischzug was a festival week in Berlin-Stralau that took place every year from August 24th, Bartholomew’s Day . The tradition goes back to a fishing ban issued in 1574 from Easter to Bartholomäus, the end of which was celebrated boisterously by Berliners every year. Since the festival kept degenerating, it was banned in 1873 and then only occasionally celebrated..
