Description | Konstantin Mikhailovich Bykov (1886-1959) – a Russian and Soviet physiologist who conducted studies of the influence of the cerebral cortex on internal organs. Disciple of Pavlov. Full member of the USSR Academy of Sciences (1946) and the USSR Academy of Medical Sciences (1944). Honored Scientist of the RSFSR (1940). Lieutenant General of Medical Service. Deputy of the Supreme Soviet of the RSFSR 3-4 convocations. He was a laureate of the Stalin Prize of the first degree (1946). |
