| Description | Balloon Competition for the MTP Cup
On June 22, 1963, on the occasion of the 32nd Poznań International Fair, the 5th Free Balloon Competition for the Operational Aviation Commander’s Cup took place in Poznań – organized by the Poznań Aeroclub.
The following balloons were registered for the competition: – the “SP – BZD Katowice” balloon – by the Silesian Aero Club, – the “SP – BZB Poznań” balloon – by the Poznań Aero Club, – the “SP – BZA Syrena” balloon – by the Warsaw Aero Club, – the “SP” balloon – BZC Warszawa “- through the Warsaw Aeroclub, -” SP – BZE Polonez “balloon – through the Podhale Aeroclub – balloon section in Tarnów.
In consultation with the Poznań Aeroclub and based on the permission of the Ministry of Communications No. PP 320 of 23.IV.63. – The Board of the Provincial Branch of the Polish Union of Philatelists in Poznań organized a “balloon post”.
