|Artist||Skubko-Karpas Lyudmila Lvovna (1923-2012).
Born in Petrograd in 1923. Lived in Moscow. 1990 to 1997 lived and worked in Paris. She continued the traditions of Russian impressionism, maintaining faithfulness to the manner of writing and drawing only from nature laid down in her youth. Returning in 1944 from evacuation in the Urals, she entered MIPIDI, from where she moved to Surikovsky. In 1952 she graduated from the Moscow State Art Institute. IN AND. Surikov. Exhibited in Russia and abroad since 1952. Member of the Moscow Union of Artists since 1957. Over the seven decades of her creative life, she has created a rich gallery of portrait images, which are distinguished by the filigree skill of embodiment, subtle psychologism, the ability to feel and convey the spiritual and spiritual world of a person. A separate page of the artist’s work is represented by memorable children’s images. The artist’s works are in many museums, galleries and private collections in Russia and abroad – England, Italy, Spain, USA, especially in France.
